History & haunting lore

Fort Alexander I sits offshore in the Gulf of Finland and gained the nickname Plague Fort after its laboratory period. It combines military isolation, disease history, and abandoned sea-fort atmosphere. Any field note should stress that boat or ice access can be dangerous and that interiors may be restricted or structurally unsafe.
