FAQs

Can I hide my online status?

Yes. Open Settings and use Online status privacy to decide whether other members can see when you are online.

Are messages end-to-end encrypted?

No. Messages are private member conversations protected by account access and database permissions, but the site should not claim end-to-end encryption unless that is built later.

Why can image uploads take time?

Uploaded files may be scanned and processed for safety. The post can show a local preview quickly, but the final hosted media may take longer when scanning is busy.

How do I view an image bigger?

Click or tap a feed, marketplace, ScareBnB, event, or message image. A larger viewer opens with a close button.

What should I do if sign-in says invalid credentials?

Check the email address, reset your password, and confirm whether your email still needs verification. If the account was deactivated, signing in may reactivate it.

Who handles marketplace payments and disputes?

Marketplace listings are member-to-member. Paranormal Country hosts the listing tools but buyers and sellers agree payment, postage, returns, and refunds directly.

What is the difference between deactivation and deletion?

Temporary deactivation hides your profile while preserving your account for return. Permanent deletion starts a grace period, then removes account data permanently once completed.

How do I report unsafe content or a technical problem?

Use in-app report tools where available, or contact us with the link below. Include the page URL, screenshots if helpful, and what went wrong.
